‘Survivor’ episode 8 preview trailer: Get ready for ‘surprise ending’ in ‘You Get What You Give’ [WATCH]

As if “Survivor: David vs. Goliath” hasn’t been exciting enough, now CBS is promising a “surprise ending” in this week’s all-new episode, titled “You Get What You Give.” The promo video for Season 37, Episode 8 teases, “Have you heard the word? Wednesday’s ‘Survivor’ is so good, so shocking, we should just reveal the surprise ending … But that spoils the fun. So don’t miss a minute!” Watch the “Survivor” preview trailer above.

At one point in the clip Nick Wilson is shown during a confessional holding a piece of parchment that’s been super-imposed with the phrase “THE SURPRISE ENDING” surrounded by question marks. “Well, what is it?” he asks while giggling gleefully. Usually the only time the castaways receive parchment is when they find a clue or a hidden idol, so we’re assuming that this is good for Nick’s game.

Speaking of Nick, he’s currently our readers’ #1 pick to win “Survivor: David vs. Goliath.” This public defender from Kentucky has leading 4/1 odds to join the “Survivor” winners list, far out-pacing the second-place contender Christian Hubicki at 11/2 odds. Rounding out the Top 6 players most likely to win are Alison Raybould in third place (11/2 odds), Gabby Pascuzzi in fourth place (7/1 odds), John Hennigan in fifth place (15/2 odds) and Alec Merlino in sixth place (14/1 odds).

On the flip side, our odds-makers believe that Angelina Keeley is most in danger of heading home in “You Get What You Give” after last week’s tumultuous tribal council. As a refresher, Angelina and Elizabeth Olson got into a scuffle when Elizabeth, knowing she was on the bottom, revealed that Angelina had told her she was the target. Angelina’s fellow Goliath tribe members saw the move as her trying to gain jury votes, so she’s definitely on the outs with them going forward.

“Angelina, she’s not dumb, she’s a smart cookie,” Elizabeth told Gold Derby the morning after her elimination. “She didn’t tell me with time to go scramble. She told me right as I’m the last one to get a confessional or be interviewed by the producers on the island that night. As soon as they get done with confessionals, you’re headed to tribal.” Will Angelina’s decision come back to haunt her?
