CEO Natalie Cole will be pretty much unforgettable, given that she played “Survivor” the way she probably treats her employees, issuing commands and then expecting immediate results without lifting a finger. If this Goliath had any “game” among her skill set, she didn’t show it on last week’s episode. Predict what you think the fallout will be from the so-called “Jacketgate” by voting now in our poll.
Her bossiness was all the more apparent when the two tribes dropped their buffs and broke into three and her Jabini crew was destined to head to Tribal Council. If she had bent to the wishes of her original teammates Mike and Angelina, she would still be there. But in a twist spurred on by Season 37’s cold and rainy weather, Angelina stepped up and decided to go after David member Lyrsa’s lime green Member’s Only jacket by using Natalie.
Meanwhile, Natalie started egging Nick to give up his jacket or miss out on vying for a million dollars. Mike called out Natalie’s mean behavior and the chopping block beckoned. She even refused to give Angelina — who didn’t put her name down — her jacket despite not needing it once she left the game.
Then again, as told to my fellow Gold Derby editor Marcus James Dixon after last week’s episode aired, Natalie has no regrets for her actions and no love for Angelina. “She did not support me. She shared information throughout the game, some of which were lies that I was able to verify. She voted me out expressly for my jacket so why should I care for her comfort? Mike never made a decision while in the game. Angelina had to make the call to vote me out.”
What will happen on Episode 5 this week? Tune in at 8 p.m. ET/PT Wednesday.
