Things are about to get physical on “The Amazing Race” as the final four teams race to the finish line in Wednesday’s Season 30 finale. In CBS’s preview trailer (watch above), newly engaged “Big Brother” lovebirds Jessica Graf & Cody Nickson elbow their way past dating Yale grads Henry Zhang & Evan Lynyak after landing in Hong Kong. “In the future you gotta be more aggressive,” Evan scolds Henry after their blink-and-you-miss-it altercation. “Jessica and Cody, like, pushed. It’s, like, getting to the end, you know, so people are gonna push and shove.”
After getting into a taxi, Jessica announces, “We felt pretty confident starting the leg because we knew Yale had a speed bump. But you never know where you’re gonna be on any of these challenges.” Jessica and Cody begin this final leg of Season 30 in second place, behind Indy car drivers Alex Rossi & Conor Daly. Meanwhile, X-Games athletes Kristi Leskinen & Jen Hudak follow in third place, while Henry and Evan make up the rear.
In last week’s 9th and 10th episodes, lifeguards Lucas Bocanegra & Brittany Austin made the devastating mistake of losing Lucas’ passport. While they were able to acquire a last-minute replacement passport, they lost too much time in the process and couldn’t catch up to the other four teams.
That episode ended with Team Yale coming in last place, however they were saved because it was a non-elimination leg. Can Henry and Evan overcome their mandatory speed bump challenge and outrace the other teams? Or will Jessica and Cody, Alex and Conor or Kristi and Jen be the ultimate winners of Season 30? Find out Wednesday night on CBS.
