“Big Brother” contestants Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf won “The Amazing Race” on Feb. 21. In a post-victory interview they revealed their plans for the one million dollar prize and reflected on the race. Talking to host Phil Keoghan, Graf readily admitted that they saw the “Race” as “their redemption project.” Watch the whole interview above.
The couple met last summer during “Big Brother 19.” Graf rubbed many of her rival houseguests the wrong way. She won the Halting Hex early in the game before being evicted. Nickson soon followed but this ex-Marine did pick up the consolation prize of “America’s Favorite Houseguest.”
Nickson asked Graf to marry him during a hike in LA’s Runyon Canyon Park on Feb. 13. Other “Big Brother” houseguest who met and married after meeting on this CBS reality competition series include:
Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder (season 11)
Rachel Reilly and Brendan Villegas (season 12)
Dominic Briones and Daniele Donato (season 13)
Just weeks after exiting the house, the couple were conscripted by “The Amazing Race,” as had been Reilly and Villegas. In our ongoing poll about the strengths and weaknesses of the remaining contestants on “The Amazing Race,” this new Team Big Brother drew a whopping 55% of your vote. Throughout the first 10 legs, they demonstrated a determination to play the game to its fullest and this helped them in the final stretch.
