Team Alicia Keys rocks out to ‘Gimme Shelter’ on ‘The Voice’ results show: Britton Buchanan, Christiana Danielle, Jackie Foster [WATCH]

Tuesday night on “The Voice,” Team Alicia Keys took a break from the competition to rock out to The Rolling Stones‘ “Gimme Shelter” during the live Top 11 results episode. Britton Buchanan, Christiana Danielle and Jackie Foster accompanied their Grammy-winning coach Keys in an energetic rendition of the rock classic in front of the other judges and the lively studio audience. Watch Team Alicia’s “Gimme Shelter” performance above.

Each team member got their chance to shine during the performance, with Alicia pounding the piano keys, Britton strumming the guitar and Christiana and Jackie going full rocker-chick in their vocals. Adam Levine‘s team also performed on Tuesday night, while Team Kelly Clarkson and Team Blake Shelton both took the stage last week.

Throughout the live results episode both Britton and Jackie were declared safe by host Carson Daly. However, Christiana was later revealed to be in the bottom two along with Sharane Callister from Team Adam. After both artists sang for America’s instant save, Sharane was eliminated in 11th place while Christiana received enough votes to stay in the reality TV competition.

In his recap of “The Voice” results show our live-blogger Denton Davidson raved, “Between this week and last, Team Alicia gave my favorite group performance by a mile. Everyone shined. Well done!”
