‘The Voice’ battle rounds: Jackie Verna & Stephanie Skipper belt out ‘These Dreams’ for Team Adam Levine [WATCH]

Tuesday night on “The Voice,” Jackie Verna and Stephanie Skipper performed Heart‘s “These Dreams” for Team Adam Levine during the fourth and final battle round episode of Season 14. Despite the two artists having very distinct voices, Adam paired them together because they both had a rawness to them. Adam ultimately chose to save Jackie for his team, thereby eliminating Stephanie from the reality TV singing competition. Do YOU think coach Adam made the right decision? When it was time to make a decision, Adam told Jackie and Stephanie, “The finished product was two incredible singers doing an amazing duet, and both singing with so much power, proficiency and emotion. So you guys have done your job, both of you, beautifully. Sometimes this boils down to an intangible — a feeling. Not just when you listen, but when you’re just experiencing two people singing. Sometimes we gravitate toward somebody in ways we that we cannot explain.” Adam paused, and then stated, “For that reason right now, I’m gonna say the winner of this battle is Jackie.”

In his recap of “The Voice,” our live-blogger Denton Davidson said, “Jackie kicked things off with her delicate, yet piercing voice. Stephanie chimed in next, and sounded nervous. Before this battle started, I thought I would prefer Stephanie, but now that it’s happening, Jackie looks like the clear winner to me. There are great colors to Stephanie’s voice, but she couldn’t control the nerves tonight.”
