‘The Voice’: Team Blake Shelton power rankings best to worst on eve of season 14 knockout round

Blake Shelton has been with the “The Voice” since it began in 2011 and has won six of the previous 13 seasons. He is the reigning champ, having coached Chloe Kohanksi to victory last fall. However, he may have a hard time winning for a lucky seventh time in season 14 with the return of Alicia Keys and the addition of Kelly Clarkson to the coaching panel. Our readers say that both those women have stronger teams heading into the knockout round, which kicks off April 2, than Shelton or fellow veteran coach Adam Levine.

His eight artists earned a combined 19 chair turns during the blind auditions. Shelton chose six of these during the blind auditions while the other two were steals from coaches who went with the competing artists in the battle round.

Shelton had pitted his original dozen artists against each other in six battles. The winners of these match-ups — Pryor Baird, Spensha Baker, Austin Giorgio, Kyla Jade, Jaron Storm and Wilkes — move on to the knockout round. He used one steal to throw Dylan Hartigan a lifeline after Kelly Clarkson opted to keep Brynn Cartelli following their duet on “…Ready for It?” And he picked up Team Alicia Keys artist Jaclyn Lovey after she lost to Britton Buchanan when they did battle on “Thinking Out Loud.”

We have compiled a power ranking of the contestants now on Team Blake Shelton. These would-be winners are listed from best to worst based on their reception in the blind auditions and battles, the resulting sales of their tracks on iTunes and the votes of viewers like you. If you haven’t voted in our poll yet, be sure to do so at the bottom of this post and then sound off in the comments section about both Shelton and his team. (Vote in the polls on Team Kelly Clarkson, Team Alicia Keys and Team Adam Levine too.)
