‘The Voice’: Pryor Baird is best artist on Team Blake Shelton, say 31% of readers

Blake Shelton is looking for his lucky seventh win as a coach on “The Voice.” We asked you which of the 12 artists that he has chosen could win season 14 of this NBC reality competition series. Your overwhelming favorite, with a sizeable 31% of the vote is Pryor Baird. Only one of his other artists —  Dallas Caroline — broke double digits in our survey.

Shelton has been with the hit NBC reality competition series since it launched and is back as a coach on season 14. He has won a whopping six of his previous 13 turns as a mentor: Jermaine Paul (season 2), Cassadee Pope (season 3), Danielle Bradbery (season 4), Craig Wayne Boyd (Season 7), Sundance Head (season 11) and Chloe Kohanski (season 13).

This 35-year old from Orcutt, CA earned the only four-chair turn of the night with his version of the R&B classic “I Don’t Need No Doctor.”

Dallas Caroline: “Always on My Mind” (Blind Audition 6): 19%
This 17-year-old from Santa Rosa, CA sang Willie Nelson‘s country music standard “Always on My Mind.”

Spensha Baker: “Blackbird” (Blind Audition 4): 9%
This 24-year-old from San Antonio, TX sang the Beatles chestnut “Blackbird.”

Austin Giorgio: “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” (Blind Audition 3): 7%
This 21-year old from Rochester, NY saw Clarkson and Shelton duke it out after his rollicking rendition of the Marvin Gaye soul song “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You).”

This 31-year old from Lexington, KY warbled the Kenny Chesney chestnut “Never Wanted Nothing More.”

Kyla Jade: “See Saw” (Blind Audition 1): 6%
This 33-year-old from Nashville, TN sang the Aretha Franklin standard “See Saw.”

Bransen Ireland: “Tulsa Time” (Blind Audition 5): 4%
This 27-year-old from Tulsa, OK sang the Eric Clapton hit “Tulsa Time.”

Brett Hunter: “She’s a Bad Mama Jama” (Blind Audition 3): 4%
This 33-year-old from Oakland, CA sang the Carl Carlton R&B classic “She’s a Bad Mama Jama.”

This 29-year old from Shelby, NC got only Shelton to turn for this rendition of the Drifters classic “This Magic Moment.”

This 33-year-old from Waleska, GA sang the The Wallflowers indie hit “One Headlight.”
