During Monday’s live episode of “The Voice” Season 15, blues artist Sarah Grace of Team Kelly Clarkson performed “When Something Is Wrong With My Baby” for America’s votes. Prior to this performance, Sarah sang “Ball and Chain” in the blind audition, “No Roots” in the battles and “I’d Rather Go Blind” in the knockouts. Since 24 artists performed live on November 12, there was no time for judges’ comments. Do you think Sarah will advance to the Top 13? In his “The Voice” live blog, our recapper Denton Davidson had this to say about the live performance: “We move right along with Sarah Grace singing ‘When Something is Wrong With My Baby.’ Is she jamming out on an organ? That might be a first on ‘The Voice.’ I love this throwback song and the power in her voice certainly doesn’t look like something that would come from her pint-sized body. Vocally, I am not blown away but she’s pulling it off.”
According to NBC’s bio, “Sarah Grace is a young Southern belle with an artistic side. Sarah Grace had synesthesia when she was younger, a condition in which she would see colors in response to hearing music. While she later lost this sensory gift, it was what inspired Sarah Grace to pursue music. Sarah plays a variety of instruments at her local high school and even started her own band with her family. ‘The Voice’ is an excellent opportunity for her to jumpstart her career.”
