‘The Voice’ Top 24: Which of the 6 artists on Team Kelly Clarkson could win season 15? [POLL]

Kelly Clarkson remains a formidable force in her second season as a coach on NBC’s “The Voice.” The first winner of “American Idol” drew on that experience last spring when she coached Brynn Cartelli to victory on season 14 of “The Voice.” She is back to defend her title and is taking six artists through to the first live round of the competition, which kicks off on November 12. During the just-concluded knockout round, she had to cut her team from eight to five. And she added one steal from the cast-offs of the other coaches.

VOTE For best artist on each of the other teams: Jennifer Hudson | Adam Levine | Blake Shelton

Which of the half dozen hopefuls on her team do you think could go all the way and win season 15 of “The Voice”? Take a look at detailed bios of each of them below and then cast your vote in our poll at the bottom of this post. And be sure to sound off in the comments section about Clarkson and her time as a coach on “The Voice.”

Abby Cates
Age: 17
Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio
Resident: Cincinnati, Ohio

Abby has been singing and performing for as long as she can remember. She started choir in kindergarten and joined theater in the second grade. She is currently a worship leader in her school and enjoys making music a part of her life any way that she can. When Abby isn’t working on music, she performs as princess characters at birthday parties. Abby is used to playing various roles, but “The Voice” is her first chance to take the stage and just be herself.

Sarah Grace
Age: 15
Hometown: Houston, Texas
Resident: Houston, Texas

Sarah Grace is a young Southern belle with an artistic side. Sarah Grace had synesthesia when she was younger, a condition in which she would see colors in response to hearing music. While she later lost this sensory gift, it was what inspired Sarah Grace to pursue music. Sarah plays a variety of instruments at her local high school and even started her own band with her family. “The Voice” is an excellent opportunity for her to jumpstart her career.

Hometown: Windsor, Connecticut
Resident: Windsor, Connecticut

Music and church are two very important aspects of Kymberli’s life. She is a worship leader and minister, and she sings in the choir at her church, where her parents are pastors. Kymberli was able to find her personality and artistry in her college gospel choir. For the past seven years, she has been working alongside chart-topping gospel singer JJ Hairston. One of the albums they recorded has been nominated for a Grammy. Kymberli is ready to step into her own spotlight on “The Voice.”

Keith Paluso
Age: 30
Hometown: Atoka, Tennessee
Resident: Memphis, Tennessee

Keith is a natural resource manager in Germantown, Tennessee, which means he oversees 29 nearby parks and all their park rangers. Keith and his wife used to live in a state park and worked as animal rehabilitators. When he’s not roaming the woods, Keith is singing and playing music. He has always loved music, but he put his dreams on the back burner to take a more sensible route. After he and his wife, Bethany, welcomed their son, Keith decided he wanted to be an example of someone who goes after his dreams. So, while on paternity leave, he dusted off his old guitars and started playing again. Keith is now chasing his childhood dreams on “The Voice.”

Chevel Shepherd
Age: 16
Hometown: La Plata, New Mexico
Resident: Farmington, New Mexico

At just 16 years old, Chevel constantly impresses people with her powerful voice given her age and petite stature. She was raised on country music and the outdoors – often doing crafts, feeding the animals and fixing up cars with her dad. Since Chevel was eight, she has been singing in town wherever she can, but she’s looking for bigger musical opportunities. Chevel is ready for her talents to be heard beyond her small town.
