“The Voice” is now down to just 10 artists in contention to win season 14. Two of the coaches — Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton — still have the same three artists that they brought into this phase of the competition. Each of the other two coaches — Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine — has lost one of their artists already. In advance of the Top 10 performing on May 7, we asked viewers of “The Voice” who they thought would win.
Only two of the Top 10 registered more than 20% support in our poll: Britton Buchanan of Team Alicia Keys with 25% and Pryor Baird from Team Blake Shelton at 24%. Not surprisingly, Baird and Buchanan saw their Top 10 songs ranked the highest on iTunes. Selling digital downloads can be a key part of success on this show. If you register in the top 10 on iTunes, you get the benefit of a vote multiplier.
Two other artists — Brynn Cartelli from Team Kelly Clarkson and Baird’s teammate Kyla Jade — should make the Top 4 as they have the backing of 19% and 13% of viewers respectively. None of the other contestants in the Top 10 broke into the double digits and could well face elimination on Tuesday’s show hosted by Carson Daly.
Jackie Foster (Team Alicia Keys) is at 6% followed by Spensha Baker (Team Blake Shelton) next on 5% and Christian Danielle (Team Alicia Keys) with 3%. Levine’s two artists — Rayshun LaMarr and Jackie Verna — are longshots at 2% while Clarkson’s Kaleb Lee is last with 1%.
