
The Top 24 on “The Voice” performed live for the first time on Monday (April 16). Each of the four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — brought six artists apiece to the competition. All two dozen contestants got a chance to sing a solo, albeit a brief one, during the two-hour show. Throughout the evening, Carson Daly revealed the top vote-getter from each team who advanced to the Top 12.

The other eight finalists will be determined by public votes on the performances of the remaining 20 contestants in one-hour episodes of “The Voice” that will air live on Tuesday (April 17) and Wednesday (April 18). These dozen artists will sing for America’s votes when the Top 12 take to the stage live on April 23.
