Season 15 of NBC’s singing competition “The Voice” is in the home stretch, with only two more episodes left to air. As the finale approaches we’ve done our best to answer several burning questions fans may have about this controversial, yet highly entertaining, season of the long-running reality TV show. Host Carson Daly and coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson will all be there for this week’s final episodes — will you? Grab some popcorn and scroll down for your “Voice” finale 411.
When is the Season 15 finale?
NBC’s two-hour performance episode will air live on Monday, December 17 beginning at 8/7c, with the one-hour results show airing the following night, Tuesday, December 18 at 8/7c.
Who are the Final 4?
During last week’s bloodbath in which four people went home, the Final 4 artists were officially revealed: blues crooner Chris Kroeze (Team Blake), country artist Kirk Jay (Team Blake), country starlet Chevel Shepherd (Team Kelly) and pop singer Kennedy Holmes (Team Jennifer).
How many songs will be performed?
If past season are any indication, the Final 4 artists will each perform three songs on Monday night for America’s votes: a solo cover song, a duet with their coach and an original song.
Which coach CAN’T win?
Of this season’s quartet of coaches, only one can’t win the championship: Adam Levine. Unfortunately, all of Adam’s artists were eliminated early, which essentially means he’ll be an unbiased cheerleader in these final two episodes. Adam’s last artist Reagan Strange was sent home last week, and on her way out she thanked him for “having faith in me” during the earlier controversy.
Which coach has the best record?
Blake is by far the most successful coach in “The Voice” history, winning six different championships. To compare, Adam is in second place with only three victories. If Chris Kroeze or Kirk Jay wins this week, that means Blake’s record gets extended to seven.
Who’s predicted to win?
As of this writing, the artist most likely to join “The Voice” winners list is Kirk. This Alabama country singers has leading 6/5 odds to prevail, with Kennedy in second place (43/20 odds), Chevel in third place (9/2 odds) and Chris in fourth place (25/1 odds).
