After being the first-ever victim of the “Big Brother” hacker comp, Tyler Crispen had nothing but respect for the new twist. “Job well done, hacker,” this season’s frontrunner applauded in the diary room after learning that the mysterious hacker nominated him for eviction. “I’m proud of you. You made a big move. It’s about time somebody other than me did that.” Tyler then added, “But just know it’s gonna come back around to you, and you’ll be out of here before me if I have anything to do with it.”
All 11 remaining houseguests competed in a hacker competition where they had to unscramble words related to the “Big Brother” game. The person with the highest score after seven rounds would become the hacker and be given the power to hack the game three different ways: by replacing a nominee, by picking a player for the Veto challenge and by preventing someone from voting. The winner of the hacker comp was Haleigh Broucher.
Head of Household Angela Rummans originally put Scottie Salton and Rockstar Lantry on the chopping block, but Haleigh replaced Scottie with Tyler. “You cannot ride the fence or play the middle in this house and not get noticed,” Haleigh revealed in the diary room after making her decision. “I think Tyler has played he middle, he has played both sides, and he is getting away with it. So if I don’t make this move now, I don’t know if it will ever be made.”
For her part, Angela was bummed that her nominations were changed. “This is literally a nightmare,” declared the reigning Head of Household. “I’m gonna do everything in my power to ensure that Tyler does not go home under my HOH. I’m gonna win the Veto, I’m gonna crown Tyler ‘Prince Veto’ and then I’m gonna throw Bayleigh Dayton‘s ass up on the block.”
