Tyler Crispen has best odds to win ‘Big Brother’ 20, but which floater comes in second place?

Surfer dude Tyler Crispen, who’s Julie Chen‘s pick to winBig Brother” Season 20, is also now our odds-on frontrunner. Based on the predictions of Gold Derby readers like you, Tyler has leading 21/10 odds to take home the $500,000 prize. That choice isn’t really a shocker considering Tyler is in a tight alliance dubbed Level 6, he won the season’s first Head of Household competition, and he’s currently America’s choice for the “Power App.” However, our readers’ prediction for who’s in second place with 4/1 odds is more of a head-scratcher: self-described “dud guyScottie Salton.

Scottie has stayed mostly to himself the first two weeks inside the “Big Brother” house, aside from his all-too-brief bromance with Steve Arienta. Unfortunately for Scottie, Steve Arienta was evicted which means that he has no close allies left in the game. Since he’s not a member of either of the two competing alliances — Level 6 or FOUTTE — that puts Scottie in the “floater” category. In the past floaters have essentially been one of two things: an easy target to eliminate, or a potential vote to sway to your side. Based on Sunday’s episode, things aren’t looking good for Scottie as Head of Household Kaitlyn Herman nominated him for eviction.

As for why she thinks Tyler is the one to beat, Chen recently revealed, “I think he’s playing an excellent game. He’s likable, he’s believable, he’s playing all sides of the house, but not in this unlikable, slimy way. He’s doing it in a smart way. He’s keeping his lies straight.” Chen admitted that she first thought Tyler reminded her of Sean Penn‘s dunce character Spicoli from “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” but her opinion soon changed. “He’s a lot smarter [than you think].”

Following Tyler and Scottie on our winner’s chart, Brett Robinson comes in third place with 7/1 odds, followed by Angela Rummans in fourth at 10/1, Winston Hines in fifth at 11/1 and Faysal Shafaat in sixth at 20/1. As for who might be the next houseguest evicted from “Big Brother,” our readers predict that Chris “Swaggy C” Williams‘ time will soon come to an end.
