Voices of Hope Children’s Choir have ‘A Million Dreams’ of making it past the ‘America’s Got Talent’ quarterfinals [WATCH]

Voices of Hope Children’s Choir took on “A Million Dreams” from “The Greatest Showman” during the Quarterfinals 2 episode of “America’s Got Talent.” While “AGT” judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel were positive in their critiques, Mel B got booed when she announced that she didn’t like the song choice of the 70-member choir. Do YOU think Voices of Hope will advance to the Semifinals? Watch the “Americas Got Talent” performance video above and read the judges’ comments below.

Mel: “Voices of Hope Children’s Choir, you do give many children voices of hope. I mean, you sound amazing and incredible together. Now, as much as I enjoyed it — as much as really did enjoy it and your harmonies and your choreography and what you’re wearing — the song choice for me wasn’t quite right. But that’s just my opinion.”

Simon: “I could not disagree more. I thought this was the absolutely perfect song. I was thinking when you were performing, if I had a product called happiness, that would be the commercial. I really, really like you guys. You’ve worked so much harder. I know how hard you’ve worked. These kids are amazing. I want them in the show all the way to the end, please.”

Heidi: “You should be so very proud of yourselves. You just sang in front of millions and millions and millions of people and you did so well. And also the solo vocals were also on point, as Mel would say.”

Howie: “I’m not only fascinated with the children, but with Simon how he was able to do all the choreography. You’re amazing. I will just say that children are our future. Hey, write that down.”

During his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty declared, “The Voices of Hope children’s choir, one of the golden buzzer acts to take the stage tonight, was up next with their colorful performance of ‘A Million Dreams’ from ‘The Greatest Showman.’ Though the vocal performance wasn’t the very best, they did light up the stage with their coordinated movements and huge smiles. Mel wasn’t a huge fan of the song choice, but Simon thought it was perfect and said he ‘wants them in the show all the way to the end.'”
