When is the ‘Survivor: David vs. Goliath’ finale? Here’s when the Season 37 winner will be crowned live on CBS

The season finale of “Survivor: David vs. Goliath” is set to air Wednesday, December 19 on CBS. As has become routine, the winner of “Survivor” Season 37 will be crowned at the beginning of the reunion show following a two-hour episode that includes the final tribal council. Four-time Emmy-winning host Jeff Probst is back to oversee the reunion in front of a live studio audience at CBS Television City.

As of this writing there are still 10 players in the running to win the $1 million prize: five original David tribe members (Nick Wilson, Christian Hubicki, Davie Rickenbacker, Gabby Pascuzzi, Carl Boudreaux) and five original Goliath players (Alison Raybould, Alec Merlino, Mike White, Angelina Keeley, Kara Kay). Who do YOU think will win?

Based on exclusive Gold Derby racetrack odds, it looks as though a David is going to be taking home the $1 million check on December 19. Nick currently leads our winner’s chart with leading 18/5 odds, followed by Christian in second place at 9/2 odds. This nerdy twosome has been dominating the game since they came together to create a “Mason-Dixon” alliance. Initially separated by a tribe swap, Nick and Christian reunited at the recent merge and quickly returned to top form.

Even though Christian’s name continues to be thrown about by the Goliaths, his friends have kept him safe thanks to several secret advantages. First, Davie played his hidden immunity idol for Christian, which ultimately brought about John Hennigan‘s elimination. At the next tribal council, Nick used his steal-a-vote against Alison while Carl nullified Dan Rengering‘s idol, resulting in Dan’s ouster. As long as the Davids keep finding advantages, Christian and Nick have an easy shot at making it to finale night.

This Wednesday on CBS, two players will be voted out in a special double-length episode, titled “Tribal Lines Are Blurred.” “I don’t think they know how vicious I can be,” Angelina grins in the preview trailer. After receiving votes last week from her close allies, might Angelina perhaps be considering ditching the Goliaths and joining up with the Davids?
