Feels so good! Noise-making duo Yumbo Dump advances on ‘America’s Got Talent’ despite getting X’ed by Mel B [WATCH]

“The bigger our bellies, the better our sound,” explained “America’s Got Talent” comedy duo Yumbo Dump about their process of shoving food into their faces before each performance. The last time they performed, Mel B was not impressed with their act of making silly noises with their bellies and shouting “Feels so good!” This time around, she X’ed them after they mimicked the sound of a fish splashing around on a boat. Lucky for Yumbo Dump, the other “AGT” judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Chris Hardwick — loved their comedy routine and sent them through to the live shows. Watch the “Americas Got Talent” performance video above and then read the judges’ comments below.

Chris: “It really did feel so good. Like, I don’t know what to say. Thank you for making me a part of your act. I will tour with you any time.”

Heidi: “You make me laugh every time. I think you’re hilarious. And it feels so good.”

Simon: “I love these guys! The only thing I would say is, and I’m sort of embarrassed I’m critiquing this, I don’t think the whale giving birth sounded like you described. Just do it again for me.”

Mel: “You’re really sweet guys, I’m sure. But I just asked myself, ‘Why?'”

Howie: “Why? Because it feels so good! This makes me laugh. It feels good in the tummy. Only seven acts are going through and I promise you, one of the hardest fights I’m gonna make tonight is for you.”

In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty wrote, “Next up was the comedy act that makes noises using their bodies, Yumbo Dump. Tonight they created the sounds of whales giving birth, owl cries, fish flapping on a boat, and even brought Chris on stage to recreate one with them. Most of the panel was complimentary of the act, visibly enjoying the performance throughout, but Mel hit her X after having a general look of disgust on her face the entire time. Her main gripe is… ‘Why?!’ and honestly, I’m with her!”
