
Heading into Sunday’s BAFTAs, “The Favourite” is just that with a leading 12 nominations. Nominations for the 72nd annual BAFTA Awards were announced by the British academy on Jan. 9. That was five days before Oscar nominations voting ended. Winners will be revealed during a ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Feb. 10, 36 hours before final Oscar voting begins. The 91st annual Academy Awards take place on Sunday, February 24.
