2019 Emmy nominations: 50 most unforgivable snubs include ‘Outlander,’ ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ Julia Roberts and Lin-Manuel Miranda

Once again, the Emmy Awards nominations don’t include a ton of TV stars, including past winners Allison Janney (“Mom”) and both Jim Parsons and Bob Newhart (“The Big Bang Theory”) as well as fan favorites like “Outlander” stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan.

We pride ourselves on being able to predict which way TV academy voters will go, but we didn’t see their shunning of the likes of Oscar winners Cate Blanchett (“Documentary Now”),  Julia Roberts (“Homecoming”) and Emma Stone (“Maniac) as well as Tony champ Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”).

Below, we enumerate the top 50 snubs in our estimation. These were the shows and performers that we thought had a strong chance to number among this year’s nominees. Let us know if there are others missing from this list that merit mentioning by sounding off in the comments section.
