As is tradition, the Golden Raspberry Awards announced their contenders on the eve of the Oscar nominations. The Razzies, now in their 39th year, are a tongue-in-cheek ceremony that “honor” the worst films of the year. As usual, “winners” in most categories will be decided by regular Razzie members, but this year the champ one category will be determined by voters in Gold Derby’s prediction center” — the Razzie Redeemer Award. Victors will be announced on the eve of Oscar weekend in late February.
