Congratulations to our User Alejandro Sanchez for a terrific score of 66.67% when predicting the 2019 ACE Eddie Awards winners on Friday. He is actually tied with seven other people — Dkbif, FreemanGriffin, tommy, oscareview, Red_Snow, Julius Legaspi and moviefan61794 — at that percentage but has a better point score total of 14,095 by using the 500 super bets wisely.
Over 750 people worldwide predicted these four film and five TV winners in a total of nine categories chosen by members of the editors guild. The ceremony was held in Beverly Hills and was not televised. Our top scorer had six of the nine categories correct (including the drama film category of “Bohemian Rhapsody”) but missed for comedy film (choosing “Vice” over “The Favourite”), drama TV (choosing “Westworld” over “Bodyguard”) and limited series (choosing “Assassination of Gianni Versace” over “Escape at Dannemora”).

For the 10 Experts making picks, a three-way tie at 55.56% is at the top for Tariq Khan (Fox TV), Jack Mathews (Gold Derby) and Peter Travers (Rolling Stone). Up next with 44.44% are Joyce Eng (Gold Derby), Wilson Morales (BlackFilm) and Susan Wloszczyna (Gold Derby). Edward Douglas (Weekend Warrior) and Sasha Stone (Awards Daily) are then tied with 33.33%. The final two spots are held by Susan King (Gold Derby) at 22.22% and Erik Davis (Fandango) at 11.11%.
