‘AGT: The Champions’ judges shocking shake-up: Heidi Klum and Alesha Dixon in, Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union out

“America’s Got Talent” just finished up season 14, with two new judges on the panel: Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union. “AGT” viewers embraced these replacements for the long-serving panellists Heidi Klum and Mel B. So it was a shock when it was revealed that Gabrielle, who gave her Golden Buzzer to eventual “AGT” winner Kodi Lee, and Julianne are out won’t be part of the upcoming second edition of “AGT: The Champions.”

Last year’s winner of both “AGT” and the first season of the champions spin-off, Shin Lim, made the announcement via the video above on Sept. 26. Klum is set to return to the panel, alongside Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel. Making her debut on this side of the pond is long-time “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Alesha Dixon.

Dixon, a singer who first found fame as part of the trio Mis-Teeq, has sat alongside Cowell on the “BGT” panel since 2012. They sit in judgment with Amanda Holden, who has been with the show since its start in 2007, and actor/writer David Walliams who also joined in 2012.

What do you think of this news? Are you pleased that Heidi is returning or are you bummed that Gabrielle and Julianne were given the boot? And what do think of the addition of Alesha? Sound off in the comments section below.
