‘American Idol’ predictions: Alejandro Aranda or Laine Hardy will win season 17

On the April 21 episode of “American Idol,” the Top 10 sang songs from Disney animated classics and two of them were eliminated. We asked for your predictions as to which of the remaining eight will go all the way to win season 17. You overwhelmingly backed two of the contestants: Alejandro Aranda got 39% of your vote in our survey while Laine Hardy earned 21%.

Of the other six artists still in the competition, only two — Wade Cota and Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon — merited double digit support with the former at 11% and the latter with 10% of the total tally. Madison Vandenburg  is at 9%, Laci Kaye Booth has 6%, Walker Burroughs is on 3% and Alyssa Raghunandan is last at 2%.
