‘American Idol’ season 17 spoilers: Seven Group 2 singers to make Top 14 are …

American Idol” concluded the Top 20 stage of the competition on April 8 when Ryan Seacrest revealed the seven artists from Group 2 who had made the cut. They join the seven acts from Group 1 who were announced on Sunday to form the Top 14 who will sing for America’s votes in the live shows starting April 14.

As with Group 1, the 10 contestants in Group 2 got one more chance to audition for Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. This time, they were paired with well-known musical artists to perform duets, often of the songs which are most associated with these famous faces. The three judges then had to decide which of the 10 contenders deserved to continue in the competition based on these duets and the solos that they sung as well. Spoilers ahead
