‘America’s Got Talent’ exit interview with Indian danger act Bir Khalsa: Performing on ‘AGT’ was ‘dream come true’ [WATCH]

Even though Bir Khalsa was eliminated on last week’s Quarterfinals 2 results show, the Indian danger act still remained all smiles during their “America’s Got Talent” exit interview (watch above). “Our favorite memory was when we got a standing ovation from all the judges in the first round,” they said in reference to their viral audition. “Walking on that stage in front of America was great and amazing. This round, to walk in the Dolby Theatre was one of our dreams come true. We have always seen it on television and now we are performing and all of America is watching us.”

Bir Khalsa stood out for their wildly shocking flouts with danger, which included using sledgehammers, chainsaws and swords to smash things like melons and ice blocks. Judges Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough, Gabrielle Union and Howie Mandel praised the trio of men on each appearance, but ultimately America just didn’t vote for them. Bir Khalsa was eliminated following their first live show at the Dolby Theatre along with background singer Carmen Carter, high-kickers Emerald Belles, girl group GFORCE and singer-songwriter Sophie Pecora.

“We’re just really glad that you guys have supported us through this journey,” the group declared. “In the future we promise you that we will continue to blow your minds. Thank you very much for the support, but still we have a lot of things in the package and more danger to come.”

As for what the Indian danger act will do now that they’re off NBC’s reality TV show, Bir Khalsa responded, “After a successful journey at ‘AGT’ we’re gonna open a free school for the poor people back in India with all of your support.”

The next live shows air Tuesday, August 20 (performance night) and Wednesday, August 21 (results episode), with these 12 acts gunning for America’s votes: singer Tyler Butler-Figueroa, rapper Joseph Allen, light-up dancers Light Balance Kids, singer Robert Finley, singer-guitarist Chris Klafford, contortionist Marina Mazepa, chorale group Ndlovu Youth Choir, danger act Nick & Lindsay, comedian Ryan Niemiller, singer Charlotte Summers, dance group V.Unbeatable and wild card magicians The Sentimentalists.
