‘America’s Got Talent’ Golden Buzzer: Ellie Kemper makes Light Balance Kids cry … in a good way! [WATCH]

Grab the tissues because it’s time for another Golden Buzzer video from “America’s Got Talent.” This week‘s guest judge, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” star Ellie Kemper, previously said that she was looking to be wowed by an act that would “move [her] emotionally,” and she ended up finding that act in Light Balance Kids. These talented tykes are descendants of the popular Light Balance neon dance act from Season 12, who made it all the way to third place. Can their kids now go on to win the show? They’re certainly on the right track now that Ellie has anointed them with her one and only Golden Buzzer of Season 14. Watch the “AGT” video above and read the judges’ comments below.

Julianne Hough: “First of all, this round is all about stepping it up. You did not disappoint. The creativity, the innovation was off the charts. So good.”

Howie Mandel: “Totally agree. You know, I was a fan of Light Balance, the adults. I even like Light Balance Kids better than the regular Light Balance. And it’s really clear … I would go pay to see this in Vegas. I would see this at a live concert. I love you guys.”

Simon Cowell: “I haven’t seen people your age so young do something so brilliant, so unique, and the level of rehearsal that must go into that is quite incredible. I think you could be stars.”

Ellie Kemper: “Okay, you guys, I’m new here, I’m just a guest. I thought this was the definition of a spectacle. It was truly spectacular. It was marvelous. But there are only seven acts that can go forward and I just wish there were some guarantee to get you guys through to the live show. If only there were one sure-fire way we could get you there. Oh wait. There is. There is!”

In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty had this to say about the performance: “Light Balance Kids continued the legacy of alum group Light Balance with tonight’s performance that they describe as more than just dancing–’coding, programming, lights’ and more. In this audition’s storyline they were box-like robots that were more or less like street kids, using graffiti imagery and the setting of a basketball court. Ellie, who hadn’t seen them before, loved it so much that she wanted more and Simon called them incredible because of the amount of rehearsing that their talent requires. After all the judges had their say, Ellie decided to use her Golden Buzzer on the kids to ensure that they’d advance to the live finals!”
