“America’s Got Talent” just added another performer to the live shows in August with singer Sophie Pecora getting the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Brad Paisley on the July 16 episode. She joins five other acts who were singled out by the regular judges – Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough, Howie Mandel and Gabrielle Union — as well as host Terry Crews. Those first five picks came during the audition phase of “AGT.”
Check out the audition videos for each of these half dozen hopefuls below. Then cast your ballot in our poll for the act that you’d like to see win season 14 of “AGT” and take home the million dollar grand prize plus a contract to headline a show at a Las Vegas casino. And be sure to sound off in the comments section with your thoughts on the best (and worst) auditions of the season so far.
Joseph Allen (Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer)
This rapper had Howie tapping along to his original song on the second episode of “AGT.”
Tyler Butler-Figueroa (Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer)
This 11-year old violinist proved plucky enough with his version of Kelly Clarkson‘s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” for the prickly head judge to hit the buzzer on episode 3 of “AGT.”
Detroit Youth Choir (Terry Crews’s Golden Buzzer)
This ensemble won over the “AGT” host with their uplifting cover of the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis hit “Can’t Hold Us” on episode four.
Luke Islam (Julianne Hough’s Golden Buzzer)
One of the two newcomers to the panel waited till the final audition episode before hitting the buzzer for this 12-year old singer who wowed with “She Used To Be Mine” from the Broadway musical “Waitress.”
Kodi Lee (Gabrielle Union’s Golden Buzzer)
The other rookie judge was captivated by this singer/pianist’s rendition of Donny Hathaway‘s “A Song for You” on the season 14 premiere of “AGT.
Sophie Pecora (Brad Paisley’s Golden Buzzer)
The 15-year-old singer/songwriter inspired the guest judge to hit the buzzer after singing her poignant original tune “Misfits.”
