Then read on for “AGT” spoilers of the lineup, which is set to include three of the Golden Buzzer acts as well as a wild card picked by producers. These dozen acts will compete for America’s votes, with only the top seven moving on to the semifinals.
Among those set to take to the stage for the second live show are three acts that were singled out for special treatment: they inspired one of the panel to hit the Golden Buzzer, thereby allowing them to proceed straight to these live quarterfinals.
These three contenders will be joined by eight more that survived judge cuts and got the go-ahead from Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough, Howie Mandel and Gabrielle Union. The final act is one that didn’t get put through by the panel of judges but won over the producers who chose them as the wild card.
