The line-up of acts on the third episode of season 1 of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” includes two winners of the franchise from around the world: opera singer Paul Potts, who claimed victory in the first season of “Britain’s Got Talent” back in 2007; and DJ Arch Jnr, the self-titled “Kid DJ” who won “South Africa’s Got Talent” in 2015. Get your first look at these international imports in the teaser video above.
Also in the hunt is the runner-up from the 2017 edition of “America’s Got Talent”: child singer Angelica Hale. She lost the season 12 “AGT” title to teen ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, who competed on last week’s show. Shockingly, Darci Lynne didn’t earn enough votes from the superfans to move on to the final with that spot going to “Spain’s Got Talent” champ Cristina Ramos? Will Angelica fare better than her one-time rival?
Besides Angelica, six other “AGT” finalists are set to perform on episode 3 of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions”:
Prince Poppycock, opera singer (AGT 2010);
Tom Cotter, stand-up comic (AGT 2012);
Ryan Stock & AmberLynn, danger act (AGT 2015);
Jon Dorenbos, magician (AGT 2016);
Billy and Emily England, danger roller skaters (AGT 2017); and
Samuel J. Comroe, stand-up comic (AGT 2018).
The 10th act, magician Darcy Oake, finished in fifth place on “BGT” in 2013.
