‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’ live stream: How to watch season premiere online without a TV

Over the past 13 years NBC’s reality TV show “America’s Got Talent” has created countless superstars and Las Vegas shows, but how do some of America’s faves compare to acts from across the pond? Tonight at 8:00 p.m., the seven-week event known as “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” begins as 50 acts from around the world compete against one another for the title of “AGT” champion. If you don’t own a TV, don’t worry! You can stream the season premiere at NBC.com by logging in through your cable provider.

Popular TV providers offering live streams of the NBC network include Xfinity, DirecTV, Dish, Verizon, AT&T U-verse, Cox, Spectrum, Optimum, SuddenLink, Mediacom, CableOne, Wow, RCN, Armstrong and Frontier. Dozens more providers are also available which you can locate by using the searchbox. After the broadcast you’ll be able to rewatch the performances at the “AGT” YouTube channel.

Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel return for the spinoff series, and they’ll be joined by brand new host Terry Crews, who’s replacing Tyra Banks. “I am extremely excited to host ‘Americas Got Talent’ because it is one of my favorite shows on TV,” Crews proclaims about his new gig. Watch Crews’ introductory video here.

The first 10 of 50 acts that will compete on January 7 are: Susan Boyle (“Britain’s Got Talent” runner-up in Season 3), Bianca Ryan (“AGT” winner of Season 1), Alex Magala (“Russia’s Got Talent” winner of Season 8), Justice Crew (“Australia’s Got Talent” winner of Season 4), Uzeyer Novruzov (“AGT” Season 10 finalist), The Clairvoyants (“AGT” Season 11 finalist), Sofie Dossi (“AGT” Season 11 finalist), Preacher Lawson (“AGT” Season 12 finalist), Sara & Hero (“AGT” Season 12 finalist) and Vicki Barbolak (“AGT” Season 13 finalist).

Which returning contestants are YOU most looking forward to seeing Monday night? With a whopping 50 acts returning to the fold, spread out over the next five weeks, it’s tough to predict who might ultimately win. But upcoming talents like Courtney Hadwin (“AGT” finalist in Season 13) and Darci Lynne Farmer (“AGT” winner of Season 12) are looking strong as they come into “Champions” as two of the most viral acts in the show’s history.
