Has “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” save the best for last? You decide. Episode 5 of this “AGT” spin-off airs on Monday, Feb. 4 starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. As with the first four episodes, it will feature 10 acts who have already taken part in the franchise. We’ve done some digging and have spoilers on the line-up.
Six of them won the title in their respective countries, including reigning “AGT” champ magician Shin Lim. Three “Britain’s Got Talent” winners traveled across the pond to compete: shadow dance group Attraction (2013), pianist Tokio Myers (2017) and comedian Lost Voice Guy (2018). Also in the line-up are sand artist Kseniya Simonova (“Ukraine’s Got Talent” 2009 winner) and escape artist Cosentino (“Australia’s Got Talent” 2011 winner).
Rounding out the roster are four acts who lost their bids to win “America’s Got Talent”:
opera singer Jackie Evancho (AGT 2010);
musical group Sons of Serendip (AGT 2014);
singer Sal Valentinetti (AGT 2016); and
mentalist Colin Cloud (AGT 2017)
One of these 10 contenders will get the Golden Buzzer from new host Terry Crews. That will send them straight through to the final. They will join these four acts who got this special treatment from the four judges: Mel B‘s episode 1 pick singer Susan Boyle; Heidi Klum‘s episode 2 pick Deadly Games; Howie Mandel’s episode 3 pick Angelica Hale; and Simon Cowell‘s episode 4 pick Kechi Okwuchi.
The other four acts in the final so far won the superfan vote: stand-up comic Preacher Lawson (episode 1); rock opera singer Cristina Ramos (episode 2); opera singer Paul Potts (episode 3); and singer Brian Justin Crum (episode 4).
