The second episode of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” airs Monday, January 14 starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Just like the premiere, it will feature 10 acts who have already taken part in the franchise. Among those in the hunt is teen ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer who won season 12 of ‘AGT” in 2017. (The runner-up that year, Angelica Hale, is set to compete on an upcoming episode).
Of the other nine acts, three took the title in their respective countries. Ashleigh Butler won “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2012 with her dog Pudsey; he passed away several years ago and she is now working with another talented canine, Sully. Jump ropers DDF Crew skipped off with the “Holland’s Got Talent” title in 2012. And Christina Ramos won “Spains’s Got Talent” in 2016 for her breath-taking mash-ups of opera and rock songs.
Six of the acts in the line-up lost their bids to win “America’s Got Talent.” Among these is English schoolgirl Courtney Hadwin, who was a finalist last summer. Since then, she has signed a record deal with Simon Cowell‘s label and looks to be a big winner regardless of what happens on “AGT: The Champions.”
Besides Hadwin, the other five “AGT” finalists set to perform on episode 2 of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” are:
Taylor Williamson, stand-up comic (AGT 2012)
Piff the Magic Dragon, comedian/magician (AGT 2015)
Deadly Games, danger knife throwers (AGT 2016)
Viktor Lee, juggler (AGT 2016)
Light Balance, LED dance group (AGT 2017)
