The last time that singer Angelica Hale and ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer faced off was in the final of “America’s Got Talent” in the summer of 2017. Farmer won that battle and claimed the million dollar prize and a chance to headline a casino show.
The pair were pitted against each other again in the first season of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.” They both competed on the final of this “AGT” spin-off, which aired on Feb. 11. Because this finale was taped last fall, it wasn’t possible to let America vote like it does during the live “AGT” shows each summer. Instead producers turned to a group of superfans that came from across the country to attend these tapings. They got to decide the winner of “AGT: The Champions.”

But that doesn’t mean that loyal viewers like you shouldn’t have your say. We wanted to know from you which of the 12 acts competing should win.
In our poll results as of this writing, Angelica leads with 29% of the vote while Darci Lynn has 22%. Only two of the other 10 acts merit double digit support: magician Shin Lim, who won “AGT” in 2018, is at 13% while singer Susan Boyle, who was the 2009 runner-up on “Britain’s Got Talent,” is at 11%.
In descending order, the remaining eight acts rank as follows: sand artist Kseniya Simonova (7%); singer Brian Justin Crum (4%); comedian Preacher Lawson (4%); magician Jon Dorenbos (3%);rock opera singer Cristina Ramos (3%); singer Kechi Okwuchi (2%); daredevils Deadly Games (1%); and opera singer Paul Potts (1%);
