What was Andrew Sevener’s best performance in ‘The Voice’ finale: ‘Lips of an Angel,’ ‘All Right Now’ or ‘Rural Route Raising’? [POLL]

Blake Shelton‘s country crooner Andrew Sevener from Alvarado, Texas had three final chances to impress America during Monday’s “The VoiceSeason 16 finale, but which one of his performances was the best? As a refresher, Andrew sang Hinder‘s “Lips of an Angel” as his solo cover, “All Right Now” as his coach duet with Blake and “Rural Route Raising” as his original song. Our live-blogger John Benutty recapped each of Andrew’s final three performances, so scroll down to see his snappy reactions and then vote in our poll for your fave.

“Lips of an Angel”
Benutty’s take: “Blake liked the song choice because it blends the genres of rock and country in a way that encapsulates the kind of artist that Andrew is. I love that he got to perform this song last because it was his best of the night and one of his strongest vocals of the season. Kelly was ecstatic for Andrew’s performance and John went as far as telling him that of Blake’s three performers that he’d choose him as the best of the night.”

“All Right Now” — watch above
Benutty’s take: “Tonight the coaches (well, John and Blake) got on stage to perform duets with each of their finalists. The first of the four was Blake and Andrew for ‘All Right Now’ by Free. For Andrew it was a thumper of a song that offered him the chance to show his personality. He and Blake sounded great together and looked like stars on a traditional country rock stage.”

“Rural Route Raising”
Benutty’s take: “During rehearsals Blake surprised Andrew by telling him that Travis Tritt was coming to the show to join him for a performance on Tuesday night! Whether it was the knowledge of Travis or just the excitement of the Monday show, Andrew brought great energy to this performance and the song felt like a great fit for him.”
