Congratulations to our User BlakeB for the only perfect score of 100% when predicting the 2019 Art Directors Guild Awards winners on Saturday. He is ahead of five people — Zooey the Dreamer, Mukund, Vinicius Pereira, Awardsfan1990 and michael11391 — at 90% and has a great point score total of 7,856 by using the 500 super bets wisely.
Almost 800 people worldwide predicted these four film and six TV winners in a total of 10 categories chosen by ADG voters. The ceremony was held in Los Angeles and was hosted by David Alan Grier. Our top scorer had everything right, including the four movie winners: “Black Panther,” “Crazy Rich Asians,” “The Favourite” and “Isle of Dogs.”

To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. For the seven Experts making picks, a four-way tie at 70% leads the way for Joyce Eng (Gold Derby), Tariq Khan (Fox TV), Wilson Morales (BlackFilm) and Anne Thompson (Indiewire). Edward Douglas (Weekend Warrior) and Susan Wloszczyna (Gold Derby) are next with 60%. Peter Travers (Rolling Stone) got 100% but only predicted two of the 10 categories. See Experts’ scores.
For the eight Editors predicting, Matt Noble is in first place with 80% correct. There is then a four-way tie at 70% for Marcus Dixon, Joyce Eng, Daniel Montgomery and Paul Sheehan. Susan Wloszczyna and I are tied at 60% and then Rob Licuria with 50%. See Editors’ scores.
