Yawn! Instead of making a bold move this week, “Big Brother’s” latest Head of Household Nick Maccarone decided to nominate two safe choices for eviction: Cliff Hogg and Jessica Milagros. However, Nick seemed to leave the door open for a potential backdoor after Nicole Anthony told him and Isabella Wang that Jackson Michie was coming after them. With the Veto medallion on the line, did Cliff or Jessica come off the block and, if so, did Nick make the big game move of putting up Michie as a replacement nominee?

9:00 p.m. — “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In Sunday’s ninth episode, the final Whacktivity competition was played with Christie Murphy winning the Panic Power, aka the Diamond Veto. She told her BFF Tommy Bracco about the power, but refused to mention it to anyone else in her Gr8ful alliance, even as Jack Matthews confessed he won the Chaos Power. Elsewhere in the episode, Michie falsely blamed Nicole for casting the rogue vote to save Kemi Fakunle when it was him all along, with Nick and Isabella starting to smell something fishy in Michie’s claims. How will tonight’s Veto play out? Let’s go!
9:10 p.m. — After the nomination ceremony, Nick admits in the Diary Room that four people in his alliance are talking smack. Meanwhile, Jessica and Cliff are hoping to win the Veto and Nicole is still worried about being backdoored. Nick and Isabella head up to the HOH room and are soon joined by Tommy. Isabella, of course, tells Tommy everything. After a few minutes, the entire alliance is in the HOH room to hash out what Nicole said. Analyse Talavera and Christie turn the tables on Nicole and say SHE was the one calling Nick and Bella bullies. And THAT is a lie. Analyse and Christie do a great job of convincing everyone Nicole is the devil and Isabella is naive enough to believe them. Nicole tries to enter the HOH room but gets rejected and now she knows something is terrible is happening. At this point, Gr8ful is all heated and throwing shade at Nicole, who has actually been nothing but truthful. Now Nicole feels like an idiot for telling Isabella anything. She should have known it would be turned on her. Ovi Kabir heads up to the HOH room to tell them they’re being bullies for kicking Nicole out of the HOH room, but they treat him like garbage and tell him to leave as well. This alliance is awful.
9:15 p.m. — If Nick has the opportunity to name a replacement nominee, Nicole is going home. Now that Sam’s in their crew, they’re calling themselves “Unde9able.” Meanwhile, Kathryn Dunn still has no clue what’s going on. She’s just there for the party.
8:25 p.m. — Christie brings David Alexander into the pantry for a discussion and he asks her what they did to Ovi. Then Jack joins in and Jack and Christie told David he has been acting perfectly for someone who’s not “actually in the house.” They’re sick of Ovi and after Ovi walks in, Christie leaves and Jack just acts like a jerk to him and stares him down. What is wrong with these people? Jack is trying to intimidate Ovi and then acts like a jackass to Nicole when he sees her on his way out the door. Next, Isabella goes and asks Nicole if she wants to talk. Nicole says yes and Tommy joins them. Nicole is upset that she put her trust in Isabella and there was no need for Isabella to announce it to the entire house. Isabella thinks Nicole is a liar and she’s furious with her “lies.” Isabella says Nicole is a disgusting liar. Nicole is furious with herself for even talking to Isabella because she should have known Isabella is a total disaster. While Tommy listens to Isabella bulldoze Nicole, he starts to think that perhaps Nick and Bella WERE bullying her. He apologizes to Nicole.
8:35 p.m. — Nicole is venting to Kathryn and Jessica and begins crying. She says she’s been an advocate against bullying and then just sat there while being called disgusting and atrocious. The next morning, Nicole walks into the bedroom Isabella is in and strikes up a conversation. She tells Bella she loves her, but Bella says what Nicole did was unfair. Isabella is furious Nicole called her a bully, which never happened. Nicole tells Bella she can’t have a conversation like an educated adult. Then Nick and Tommy join in. Nick asks Nicole when he ever bullied her? Finally Nicole has had it and tells Bella she’s the problem. She manipulates people, she twists words, she lies, she makes up stuff and flips everything. Go Nicole! She then tells Nick she respects him but he’s being dragged down. Then Tommy gives Nicole a hug and tells her he loves her.
9:45 pm. — It’s time to pick players for the Veto competition! Joining Nick, Cliff and Jessica in this week’s Veto competition are Michie, Kathryn and Christie (chosen by Jessica). Why does Jessica keep sucking up to people who want to evict her? Nicole is blown away by Jessica’s choice. Out in the backyard, “Big Brother 20” star Kaitlyn Herman is waiting to host them. She tells them a ghost story about a girl who couldn’t put a puzzle together to save her “Big Brother” life. In “The Haunting of Kaitlyn Herman,” player’s will enter Kaitlyn’s “Nightmare World” and recover pieces of her shattered soul. After they bring them back to the puzzle station they must put her back together. Whoever can do this the fastest will win the Power of Veto. Nick is the first player to collect all of his pieces, but can he put the puzzle together? No, he’s awful. Meanwhile, to everyone’s surprise, Kathryn is blowing everyone out of the water and wins the Power of Veto with ease.
9:55 p.m. — So, I am liking Kathryn more and more despite the fact that she’s a terrible game player. She gives hilarious Diary Room commentary and seems like a nice person. She doesn’t know what to do with her Veto because she loves Cliff and Jessica, but she also doesn’t want Nicole to be the replacement nominee. She asks if she can save them all. Unfortunately, she can’t. Next, Nick keeps throwing odd comments at Christie and she’s becoming completely paranoid. Her gut is telling her that he’s trying to backdoor her, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Nonetheless, she runs to Kathryn in tears and says she swears she’s going to be put on the block. Next, Analyse walks in and tries to calm Christie down. Christie has completely unraveled and calls Jessica into the room. She continues to scream that she’s going up. This is sort of hilarious. Is she about to blow her Diamond Veto?
9:59 p.m. — It’s time for the Veto ceremony! Kathryn initially wanted to pull Jessica off the block, but now that Christie came to her crying, she’s not sure what to do. The houseguests gather in the living room and Kathryn uses the Power of Veto to save Jessica. Then, Nick puts Nicole on the block. Christie breaths a huge sigh of relief even though she had nothing to worry about. Nicole is lost at this point and isn’t sure who she should turn to for help. Tomorrow night, Cliff or Nicole will be evicted and then join David, Kemi and Ovi in a competition that will send one of them BACK in the game and the other three home for good.
