Tommy Bracco is truly alone in the “Big Brother” house, as the other players all have a Final 4 deal that’s gotten them this far in the game: Jackson Michie, Holly Allen, Nicole Anthony and Cliff Hogg. After Michie won the Head of Household competition (yet again), he put up Tommy as his target and Cliff as a pawn. However, the Veto competition could throw a wrench in Michie’s plans if Tommy ends up pulling out a victory. That’d force Michie to replace him with Nicole (because Holly is his showmance partner), meaning the duo of Cliff and Nicole would officially be split up. So how did the Veto play out on Wednesday night?

8:00 p.m. — “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In Sunday’s 33rd episode, the house reacted to losing both Jessica Milagros and Christie Murphy in the double eviction. Tommy in particular took it rather hard, as Christie’s elimination meant he had no more allies in the house. Later on Michie prevailed at the HOH comp, his third of the season, and then nominated Tommy and Cliff for eviction. Will this week go according to Michie’s plans or will the Veto mess up everything for the Final 4 alliance? Let’s go!
8:15 p.m. — Tommy is Michie’s target because he’s remaining true to his final four alliance with Cliff, Holly and Nicole. Tommy is slowly coming to terms with the fact that he’s alone in this game and isn’t ready to give up. He heads up to the HOH room to talk with Holly and Michie about his BFF Christie Murphy. After Michie and Holly launched one vicious attack on Christie after another, Tommy decides its time to come clean about why he was aligned with her. He reveals he knew Christie before they moved into the house and Holly immediately apologizes for bashing her. Michie and Holly are shocked by this revelation. Suddenly it makes sense to Michie why Tommy was so loyal to Christie. As far as Michie is concerned, this seals Tommy’s fate because he has a guaranteed jury vote from Christie.
8:35 p.m. — Cliff is pumping himself up for the next Veto competition. It’s always entertaining to listen to Cliff talk to himself in the “Big Brother” house and tonight he is repeating to himself that losing this Veto is not an option. It’s finally revealed that this week’s competition is the Comic Book challenge. Each player will fly down a zip line to peep inside the “BB Comic” studio. They need to grab 16 “BB Comics” cards and exactly match them to the versions on the studio wall. Whoever does this the fastest will win the Power of Veto. Everyone is struggling at some level with this competition. Holly seems to have had the most trouble, but nobody flew through it with ease. When the results are revealed, we learn Nicole has the fastest time and she has won the Power of Veto! Tommy was a very close second and he is devastated he couldn’t pull off this win. Nicole is building her finale resume at the perfect time. She may have what it takes to win this show! Michie is expecting the final four to remain as planned, but if Nicole removes Cliff from the block, shouldn’t they consider backdooring Holly?
8:45 p.m. — Cliff congratulates Nicole and thanks her for bringing both of them into the Final 4. Nicole guarantees Cliff she’ll pull him off the block and now they must consider how cut-throat they’re willing to be. Michie is initially thrilled that Nicole won the POV, but then it dawns on him that they could backdoor Holly. In his mind, Cliff and Nicole would be smart to backdoor Holly, get rid of Michie next week and take Tommy to the final three. Michie is hoping he can talk them out of that, but at least he’s smart enough to know it’s a possibility. At this point, he has faith in Cliff and Nicole. Downstairs, Cliff and Nicole discuss their future in the game. Nicole considers sending home Holly, but she thinks Tommy is too strong. Cliff agrees that Tommy is the bigger competitive threat. Later, Michie joins them and Nicole reveals that she’s saving Cliff. She assures Michie that no “funny business” is happening, but the possibility of evicting Holly is still an option for them.
8:59 p.m. — Nicole talks to Tommy and she wants to assure him that he’s still got a shot in this game. She’s going to take Cliff of the block and Holly will go up as a replacement. She tells Tommy to campaign against Holly because she wants him to stay in the game. Tommy is thrilled and he’s so overcome with emotion that he begins to cry. At this point, Cliff would still like Tommy out of the game, but Nicole seems to want to send Holly packing. Tommy will take any sliver of hope he can get. Later, Nicole tries to convince Cliff that keeping Tommy is beneficial for both of their games. If they broke Michie and Holly up now, it increases the likelihood of either Nicole or Cliff reaching the final two. Cliff isn’t convinced, but he’s not opposed to Nicole’s idea. Finally, at the Veto meeting Nicole pulls Cliff off the block and he’s replaced with Holly. We will find out on Thursday’s live eviction episode if they decide to send Holly or Tommy to the jury! That’s a wrap for tonight!
