Even though Nicole Anthony won the Final 4 Head of Household competition on “Big Brother,” everyone knows that the true power this week lies with the Veto holder. Whoever wins the final Veto of Season 21 is in control of who casts the sole vote on eviction night, meaning Nicole, Jackson Michie, Holly Allen and Cliff Hogg all went guns-a-blazin’ during Wednesday’s competition. So who ended up with the Veto necklace around their neck and did this person remove Michie or Holly from the chopping block?

8:00 p.m. — “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In Sunday’s 36th episode, viewers finally saw the fallout between Michie and Tommy Bracco after Michie told lies about the Broadway dancer. Nicole and Cliff went back and forth between who to vote out, ultimately deciding to evict Tommy after Holly promised to throw the HOH competition. True to her word, Holly voluntarily dropped out of the endurance comp and gave Nicole the win. Nicole then nominated Holly and Michie for eviction, but with a Veto on the line, it’s still anyone’s game. Let’s go!
8:15 p.m. — Nicole has nominated Michie and Holly, but nominations don’t mean much. The winner of the Veto holds the power and Nicole is terrified of Michie. Cliff thinks he’s sitting pretty because he actually believes Michie will keep him over Holly if he wins the Veto. Unbelievable! Holly is still sulking about throwing the HOH competition to Nicole and she refuses to do it again in the Veto competition. She’s not going to sit back and build her own tombstone after already making what could have been a $500,000 mistake. Meanwhile, Cliff tells Holly she can compete as long as she takes Cliff along with her over Michie. Holly can barely believe what she’s hearing. I think Cliff has completely lost it. Oh, and by the way, Holly could also just stick with the original agreement and throw the Veto. To top it off, Cliff then tells Michie that he would have to take Nicole to the final two, not Michie. But he expects Michie to keep his word to take Cliff to the final two. Cliff! Wow! This man needs some fresh air. This is the most absurd deal I can think of. Michie realizes that Cliff is panicking and he wants to win the Veto and send Cliff packing.
8:25 p.m. — The final four houseguests get to compete in a luxury competition. They’ll have to figure out how many things in the house have been changed. Once they think they know the correct number of changes, the first player to ring in with the answer will win $10,000. Michie rings in first, followed by Nicole, Cliff and Holly. But what matters is getting the correct number. Michie guessed that there were 17 changes, but there were actually 18. Luckily for Michie, nobody was closer in a faster time and Michie has just won $10,000!
8:50 p.m. — It’s time for the final Veto competition of the summer! In this game, players will reveal a statement. Then, they must take their slingshot and launch a ball at the faces of the houseguests the statement does not apply to. Once only the faces of the houseguests that match the statement are showing, players will hit their answer button. The houseguest to answer three statements in the fastest time will win the most important Veto of the summer. Nicole had some issues getting used to the slingshot, but she performed relatively well. As Cliff plays, he still comments that he’s probably safe anyways because he has deals with both Michie and Holly to take him to the final three. I am flabbergasted by his delusion. Also, Cliff is terrible at this competition so he’s going to have to depend on those high hopes…or Nicole. Poor Cliff. Holly appears to be a decent shot, but she struggles remembering some details so she definitely doesn’t have a perfect game. Michie also struggles to get used to the slingshot, but physically moves more quickly than anyone else. But who completed this game the fastest? Michie! He has won yet another Veto and will likely send Cliff out the door on Thursday night.
8:59 p.m. — Following the Veto, Cliff is still telling Nicole it’s okay because they’re going to the final three. He absolutely believes Michie will dump Holly and evict her. Nicole knows better, but she is just praying for a miracle. All I can think about Cliff’s delusion is how angry he may potentially be towards Michie at the finale. In fact, how many jury members may feel the same way? At this point, I’m wondering if the front-runner can actually win over this jury. How many times has the “best” player lost in the end? We may just see Holly getting a $500,000 check next week! But first, Michie will send Cliff (and I guess I have to say – or Holly) to jury this Thursday.
