Shortly after they were nominated for eviction by Head of Household Jack Matthews, both Kemi Fakunle and Jessica Milagros went off on the Aquaman-lookalike in the “Big Brother” Diary Room. “What a moron,” hissed Kemi. “I am livid right now,” griped Jessica. Unfortunately for both of them, Jack’s massive eight-person Gr8ful alliance is in control of the house and calling all of the shots, which makes these two Black Widows huge targets. Did Wednesday’s Veto episode save either Kemi or Jessica from the block? And if so, who did Jack nominate in their place?

9:00 p.m. — “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In Sunday’s sixth episode, new HOH Jack nominated Kemi and Jessica for eviction after Isabella Wang told him about their secret girls alliance, the Black Widows. Elsewhere in the episode Jack’s dominance in the game continued when he won the Chaos Whacktivity, which gives him the power to redraw the Veto players up until the final six. And a showmance went kaput when Jackson Michie ended things with Kathryn Dunn because she was bad for his game (read: he just wasn’t that into her). So how will the Veto affect tonight’s episode? Let’s go!
9:10 p.m. — Following the Nomination Ceremony, Jack says putting up Kemi and Jessica was his smartest move because they’re both gunning for him. Jessica is determined to find out who is giving Jack the idea that she’s targeting him and Kemi just wants to win the Veto. Meanwhile, Isabella tells Nicole Anthony that she’s the one who spilled the beans about the Black Widow alliance to Jack. Isabella says she did it to save their game, but Nicole is furious. Now Nicole is worried about being a potential replacement nominee. Isabella quickly realizes she can’t keep her own mouth shut and it’s hurting her game. Next, Kemi pulls Jack aside for a private chat but doesn’t really have much to say. She asks if they’re still “good”? Really? He just put you on the block Kemi, you’re obviously not “good.” She’s trying to build some sort of friendship with Jack, but she still is hoping to “slit his throat” once she gets the chance. Over in the bedroom, Nicole tells Jessica that Isabella is the person who exposed the Black Widows. Jessica is dumbfounded. Word travels fast in this house! Jessica’s blood is BOILING!
9:20 p.m. — Ovi Kabir and David Alexander are chatting about what’s going on in the house. David is much more observant and has totally figured out the entire Gr8ful alliance. Watching David talk about each player is impressive because he absolutely nails it. The houseguests better hope he doesn’t return to the game. Later, we see the houseguests freak out as they experience an actual California earthquake. But then, a horn plays over the intercom and tells Ovi and David to get into the Camp Comeback uniforms. They basically look like boys scouts.
9:25 p.m. — Jessica tells Michie that she’s sad that Jack called her out for starting an all-women’s alliance. She says she was never going after him and begins crying. Michie tells her to hold it together and Jessica continues to press the fact that she didn’t start a women’s alliance. Michie tells her he doesn’t want her to be evicted, but he can’t really help her. At least he’s being nice. Michie is sincere in saying he wants Jessica to stay, but he doesn’t want to cross Jack. For that reason, he’s hoping he doesn’t get picked to play in the Veto competition. So who will join Jack, Jessica and Kemi in the Veto competition? Isabella, Michie (chosen by Jessica) and Sam Smith. Upstairs, David is flabbergasted that he just saw Jessica choose Michie to play in the Veto. He can’t believe that nobody in this house can see what’s going on. I want David back in the game!
9:35 p.m. — The doorbell rings and Season 20 runner-up Tyler Crispin walks through the door. He’s shirtless and wearing his lifeguard shorts, ready to host the Veto competition! In this week’s Veto competition, players must dive into “Big Brother Lake” and collect frogs while simultaneously re-filling their “Aqua Clock” with water to give themselves time to collect the frogs. As extra incentive, the winner of this Veto will also win a 5-night trip for two to Fiji. Kemi and Sam are looking neck and neck at this point and Sam decides to call it quits with 18 frogs. Kemi currently has 17 stacked and she feverishly looks for space to place two more frogs. In doing so, she knocks over her frogs and Sam is declared the winner of his second Power of Veto! He also wins that trip to Fiji.
9:45 p.m. — Jessica pulls Sam aside and pleads her case for him to save her. Nicole walks in the room and awkwardly stands there watching them talk and sort of ruins the moment. Next, it’s Kemi’s turn to speak with Sam and Kemi is certain she’s going home this week. She tells Sam she would never put him up, but Jessica will most likely put two men up if she gets the chance. Sam says if he were to use the Veto, it would 110% be on Kemi, but he’s not sure he wants the target on his back. Sam wants to use this Veto to strategically progress his game.
9:55 p.m. — Sam is called to the Diary Room where he finds a special letter. He’s devastated to learn that his grandfather has passed away and is quickly consoled by the other houseguests. It’s difficult for Sam to deal with this news, but he plans to remain in the game with an extra pep in his step for his “Pop.”
9:59 p.m. — It’s now time for the Veto Ceremony. Sam has decided NOT to use the Power of Veto to save Jessica or Kemi. He isn’t ready to make any waves this week and decides to let Jack’s nominees stand. Find out who will be evicted from the “Big Brother House” and joining “Camp Comeback” on Thursday’s live episode.
