‘Big Brother 21’ spoilers: Week 8 eviction nominations weren’t so easy for HOH

Jackson Michie is savoring his status as Head of Household for Week 8 of “Big Brother.” He won the title by claiming victory in the endurance competition that began right after the eviction of Kathryn Dunn on the August 15 live episode. Since then, Jackson has been busy considering which of the two houseguests he will nominate for the live eviction vote on August 22. We’ve been watching the #BB21 live feeds and have all the juicy details of his various discussions and his final decision. Keep reading for spoilers about the Week 8 eviction nominations.

After a day of agonizing, Jackson opted to nominate Christie Murphy and Analyse Talavera. Vote in our poll as to which of these two you’d like to see evicted this Thursday. Or do you like them both so much that you want to see a substitution in the nominations? And be sure to sound off in the comments section with your thoughts on season 21 so far.

Jackson has his sights set on Christie. Her only hope of avoiding eviction is if she or one of her allies wins the Power of Veto competition on Saturday. And that could well happen. Remember, the nominations line-up has only remained the same in just two of the first seven weeks of #BB21.

The first time this happened was back in Week 2, when Sam Smith won the POV and opted not to throw a lifeline to either of Jack Matthews‘ nominees, Kemi Fakunle or Jessica Milagros. In the end Kemi was sent packing in a near unanimous vote; only Jackson opted for Jessica. Jessica returned the favor in Week 6 by nominating Jackson alongside Jack and then winning the POV and keeping the line-up the same.

Should Christie end up being taken off the chopping block after the Power of Veto competition, the renom would likely be Cliff Hogg, who had come perilously close to being named by Jackson instead of Analyse. Who do you want to see become the third member of the jury? Cast your ballot in our poll below.
