On Sunday’s episode of “Big Brother,” we learned that Jackson Michie had won the Head of Household endurance competition shortly after the end of last Thursday’s live show. On Friday, he nominated Jessica Milagros and Christie Murphy for eviction. The only way for one of them to avoid facing the vote on September 5 is to be removed from the line-up at Monday’s Power of Veto ceremony. We’ve been watching the #BB21 live feeds over Labor Day weekend so keep reading if you want to know spoilers about the results of Saturday’s POV and its effect on the Week 10 eviction nominations.
This marks only the second time for Jess to be on the chopping block. Way back in Week 2, she was singled out by HOH Jack Matthews. However, almost the whole house voted to evict Kemi Fakunle. The only vote against her was Jackson, who is determined to see her finally sent packing this week.
Conversely, this is the third time in as many weeks for Christie to face a jury of her peers. Four weeks ago, she was also up for eviction but was removed from the chopping block by Tommy Bracco. Would she be so lucky again this week?
The POV event took place on Saturday afternoon. Joining Jackson, Christie and Jess in the competition were three other houseguests — Nicole Anthony, Tommy and Cliff Hogg. Tommy proved to be a powerhouse and won the Power of Veto again.
At Monday’s ceremony, Tommy uses the POV to save Christie for a second time. Cliff Hogg is the renomination while Jess remains the target. Vote in our poll below as to which of these two — Cliff and Jess — you’d like to see evicted on this Thursday’s live episode of “Big Brother.”
