Although the first episode of “Big Brother” 21 doesn’t air till June 25, we already know who is ruling as the first Head of Household. Despite rumors to the contrary, no other houseguests, be they alumni of the show or brand-new to the franchise, have joined the 16 already in the house. And we can confirm that no one has exited either by way of eviction or otherwise.
The first few episodes of #BB21 are taped, including the two-part premiere this Tuesday and Wednesday and the hour-long follow-up episodes on Sunday (June 30). That Sunday show will conclude with a big reveal: the first Head of Household and the two Houseguests who have been nominated for eviction. The results of that vote will be announced during the first live show on Wednesday July 3. “Big Brother 21” spoilers ahead.
Christie Murphy is the first HoH. While she admits to being ambitious, her plan had been to hold back until she was sure of her place in the house. Her biggest fear about life in the house was establishing trust with her fellow houseguests. In her pre-interview, she disclosed that her strategy for success was to use her femininity and charm to easily persuade and subtly manipulate the men, while also being the emotional shoulder and best friend to all the girls.
Christie is a 28-year-old from Staten Island, NY who now owns a boutique in Keyport, NJ. She describes herself as an outgoing overachiever who is edgy. Her life is centered around her dog, and she loves long hikes that end at waterfalls. Her motto: “If you want it, picture it, write it down, and envision yourself getting it, manifest the sh*t out of it… and it’s yours. Simple.”
