If you watched Tuesday’s season premiere of “Big Brother” on CBS, then you know that 24-year-old Jackson Michie from Nashville, Tennessee won the vote to become the first-ever BB Camp Director. This power makes Jackson immune at the first live eviction on July 5, but it also comes with a big twist: he’ll have to banish four people from the game. Three of those banished players will earn the right to return to the house if they complete the BB Wilderness challenge on Wednesday, while the fourth will be eliminated. Talk about a good news/bad news situation for Jackson.
“BB21” host Julie Chen Moonves gave each of the 16 houseguests the option to campaign to become Camp Director, with Jackson, Jessica Milagros, Cliff Hogg and David Alexander all putting their hats in the ring. At first Jessica looked like she was on track to win the power after a powow with all of the girls (plus Tommy Bracco), but soon Jackson was able to convince many of them to flip. One by one, the 15 players who received the least amount of votes were sprayed with colorful goop, leaving only Jackson still remaining as the Camp Director.
“It’s part of the game,” Jackson declared at the end of the Season 21 premiere when Julie informed him about the details of the twist. “I don’t want to do it, but I got to. Somebody has to. And I’m sorry to anybody that has to feel the wrath of it. There’s only confetti for one person.” Jackson originally decided to step up to the plate to campaign for Camp Director because he didn’t want to be on the losing end of whatever power might be at stake, but now he could be in serious trouble if the three banished houseguests return with revenge on their minds.

Here is how Julie described the BB Camp Director twist and how everything will play out during the Wednesday, June 26 episode:
Jackson, congratulations on your new job. As Camp Director, you will be safe at the first live eviction. As the director of Camp BB, you must choose to banish four houseguests. The four you choose will be out of the ‘Big Brother’ game. These four will then go head-to-head in a battle for their ‘Big Brother’ lives. Three will win their way back into the house. The fourth will see their game come to an end before the first eviction even takes place. The only way to stay safe is to make sure Jackson does not banish you. Good night, houseguests. So, Jackson must soon banish four houseguests and put their game in jeopardy, sending them into the ‘Big Brother’ wilderness. Who will make it back to Camp BB and who will be sent packing?
