Can’t wait till Wednesday’s episode of “Big Brother 21″ to find out who won the all-important Power of Veto competition in Week 8? Then keep reading for spoilers as we’ve been keeping a keen eye on the #BB21 live feeds since they were turned on following Thursday’s episode and know who claimed this game-changing power on Saturday and how it impacts the eviction nominations for the live show on August 22.
Jackson Michie won the hard-fought endurance competition and became the Week 8 Head of Household shortly after the end of the live show on August 15. He spent the rest of Thursday and into Friday considering who would be his two nominees for eviction. In the end he opted for the two houseguests who he had faced off against last week in the America’s Field Trip challenge: Christie Murphy and Analyse Talavera.
Christie had lost that challenge and was named as the third nominee in Week 7. But her pal Tommy Bracco, who was the HOH, won the POV and removed her from the chopping block. This week, Tommy isn’t taking part in the POV so he won’t be able to throw Christie a lifeline. The other houseguests competing — Holly Anthony, Cliff Hogg and Nick Maccarone — weren’t interested in saving Christie.
Jackson won the Power of Veto competition and will keep the nominees the same at Monday’s POV ceremony Vote in our poll as to which of Christie or Sis you’d like to see evicted. And be sure to sound off in the comments section with your thoughts on #BB21 so far.
