Bob Odenkirk (‘Better Call Saul’) 2019 Emmy Awards episode revealed for Best Drama Actor (Exclusive)

Gold Derby can exclusively reveal that Bob Odenkirk is entering the “Better Call Saul” episode “Winner” as his 2019 Emmy Awards submission for Best Drama Actor. This program aired October 8 and was the 10th episode of the fourth season for the AMC show.

In this installment, Jimmy McGill (Odenkirk) expresses public grief over the death of his brother (Michael McKean) and interviews scholarship candidates. He wants to bring esteem back to the McGill name if allowed to practice law again. But he has been conning everyone and refuses to keep the family name.

Odenkirk has been nominated as actor and producer for all four seasons of the show. He previously won Emmys for writing on “Saturday Night Live” (1989) and “The Ben Stiller Show” (1993). For this year’s contest, he is competing against past winner Sterling K. Brown (“This Is Us”), returning nominees Milo Ventimiglia (“This Is Us”) and Jason Bateman (“Ozark”), previous nominee Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”) and first-time contender Billy Porter (“Pose”).
