Make your own predictions right now — it’s fun and easy!
Brooke Lynn won the season’s first main challenge, which required the contestants to design signature looks from leftover materials belonging to former “Drag Race” legends. Silky Nutmeg Ganache, who prevailed in the first mini challenge, was given the honor of assigning the materials and she chose Detox for Brooke Lynn. A’Keria, Plastique and Vanessa “Miss Vanjie” Mateo also received high marks in the season premiere, but no one could outshine Brooke Lynne’s neon latex superhero look.
In the second episode, Brooke Lynne and Silky tied during the mini-challenge that required the 14 remaining queens to photo bomb celebrities. When it came to the main challenge, Brooke Lynne received negative comments (though she was ultimately safe) thanks to her team’s drag film adaptation of “Why It Gotta Be Black, Panther?” Scarlet Envy and Yvie Oddly ended up tying as that week’s victors.
As for A’Keria and Plastique, A’Keria received high marks in the first episode only, while Plastique earned high marks in both of the first two episodes. So far it looks like Brooke Lynne, A’Keria and Plastique may be the Top 3 queens to beat, though there is still plenty of competition to go as Season 11 is still in its infancy stage.
“It’s amazing to be the first Canadian drag queen on this show,” Brooke Lynn said in VH1’s pre-show video. “It’s a huge honor. I’m representing a whole country. I have the pressure on the f***ing north on my shoulders.” She later stated, “I’m a dancer. I think that’s what most people know about me. I was a ballet dancer for a long time. I’m a bit of a pageant queen.” Does Brooke Lynn have what it takes to win the entire show?
