‘Celebrity Big Brother’ episode 10 recap: Who won Head of Household and who’d they nominate for eviction? [UPDATING LIVE BLOG]

Following the eviction of Kato Kaelin from the “Celebrity Big Brother” house, only two men remained in the game: Tom Green and Ricky Williams. Amazingly, all five women who entered the house on day one are still there: Natalie Eva Marie, Lolo Jones, Tamar Braxton, Kandi Burruss and Dina Lohan. With the Head of Household competition on the line during Thursday’s episode, Tom desperately needed to win to avenge Kato’s eviction, while Ricky seemed to be in a good position either way. So who proved victorious and who’d they nominate for eviction?

9:00 p.m. — “Previously on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’!” In Monday’s episode, Tamar won her first HOH of the season, which meant that her Power of the Publicist advantage wouldn’t be used. She decided to nominate Kato and Tom for eviction, though she secretly told Dina and Kandi that if one of them won the Veto she would backdoor Natalie. Since Lolo prevailed at the Veto competition, Tamar’s backdoor plan never came to fruition. Lolo obviously kept the nominations the same, and Kato was soon voted out unanimously. Who will replace Tamar as this week’s Head of Household? Let’s go!

9:10 p.m. – Tom is shocked he’s still in the house and Kato was voted out. He needs to make friends fast and win the next HOH contest if he wants to survive. Tamar is feeling good about herself for getting Kato out, but Lolo is already focused in on Tom. Without Kato around, Tom is wandering around like a lost puppy and Kandi is determined to pull him over to her side so she can take out one of the big dogs. Meanwhile, Ricky and Lolo discuss who they would put up if they win the next HOH. Tom and Dina? Or Tom and Kandi? Lolo prefers the second option. Meanwhile, Kandi and Dina are having their own conversation and agree that if they win, they want Natalie and Lolo to go on the block. Kandi ambushes Tom while he’s in bed and asks who he plans to put up and he seems unprepared for the question. She tells him to take out the athletes, but Tom isn’t sure Kandi’s intentions are truly to help him.

9:25 p.m. – It’s time for the HOH competition! As the outgoing HOH, Tamar is not eligible to compete. The houseguests head to the backyard to discover a Las Vegas casino with two life-sized dice in the center. Then, out walks Omarosa to host the contest! Lolo instantly offers her an asthma pump. Omarosa explains the players will compete in a head-to-head tumbling dice match. Each player will get inside the dice, tumble off the platform, and return to the platform matching whatever number Omarosa rolls. Competing first is Tom and Ricky. Ricky takes off like a mad man, dominating the dice, but does he have the mental side of this game down well enough to win? No, he doesn’t and Tom wins the first round, eliminating Ricky. Up next, Lolo chooses to take on Tom as well, but loses. Natalie is up next and decides to take on Dina, which is a wise move so she can get some practice. Both of these two are awful at the game, so practice was warranted. Finally, Natalie takes down Dina but she’s not feeling good about herself. Next, Kandi chooses to take on Natalie, drawing shady looks from Lolo and Tamar. Natalie takes out Kandi and will take on Tom for the title of HOH. With his game on the line, Tom prevails to win the HOH!

9:30 p.m. – Everyone gathers back in the house, cheering for Tom as if they’re actually happy about his win. They’re actually mortified by the possibilities. Kandi quickly pulls him aside to cheer him on and remind him she’s on his side. Meanwhile, Natalie, Tamar, Ricky and Lolo meet up in the bedroom. Natalie is convinced she’s going on the block. Lolo says they are the ones with blood on their hands, so he would be foolish to team up with Dina and Kandi, who have no blood on their hands. Next, Dina goes to chat with Tom and says the other side of the house is freaking out. Dina tells Tom to stick to his guns and take them out. Her and Kandi are on his side. Tom is impressed that Dina is finally talking game and is ready to team up with her and Kandi.

9:35 p.m. – Natalie is convinced Kandi is against her and runs to tell Tamar, “your girl is with him.” Tamar defends Kandi, but knows it is clear as day that she is working with Tom. Regardless, Tamar wants to protect Kandi because she’s working with her to.

9:40 p.m. – Dina is telling Kandi about her “special someone” who she’s been talking to for five years, but never met. She is convinced she will marry him, but Kandi says “that’s straight-up catfish!” Tamar joins in saying “that’s a lie from the pit of the devil!” Dina hasn’t even FaceTimed this man and he lives in San Francisco. Tamar and Kandi can’t believe this mess! Tamar offers to go with her to meet this mystery man.

9:45 p.m. – Back in game mode, Tom plans to meet with all the houseguests and tell them all they’re not the target, hoping to negotiate for protection next week. Natalie agrees to keep him off the block if he does the same. Then, Tom says if someone wins the Veto, he may need to put Natalie on the block but the other person will be his target. That’s a backdoor Tom! That being said, Natalie is not Tom’s first choice to go home this week. Tom then tells Lolo he wants to put her on the block as a pawn. He wants Ricky to go home. Tom is convinced he’s orchestrating all the moves from the other side of the house. He tells Ricky exactly what he told Lolo, only this time is not sincere. Ricky thinks Tom’s offer is garbage, which it is. He counteroffers Tom, saying him, Natalie and Lolo could have evicted Tom but didn’t. He tells Tom, if he keeps all three of them off the block, he has a much better chance of sticking around longer. Ricky is not playing with Tom!

9:55 p.m. – While everyone sleeps, Tom is soaring around the house by himself like a bird. He’s truly going stir-crazy. In the morning, Natalie and Tamar are talking about nominations. Natalie is not mad at Kandi because she’s playing her game, but then says “the bitch is playing.” Kandi enters the room and Natalie promptly leaves, but Kandi doesn’t care. Kandi tells Tamar she’s never asked them for anything. Kandi says they should be mad at themselves and Tamar agrees and is glad Tom won. They now have a better chance to make it to the end. Tom tells Kandi his plan to put Ricky and Lolo on the block. Tom’s targeting Ricky, but Kandi said he needs to put Natalie on the block, not Lolo. If Natalie wins and pulls Ricky off the block, Lolo will be the first to go and that’s not the plan. Tom’s now conflicted and said he should have talked to Kandi before he told Natalie she wasn’t going up.

9:59 p.m. – It’s time for the Nomination Ceremony! They mystery is over and we now know Tom has put Ricky and Natalie on the block, breaking his word. He thinks they’re both great competitors, but chose to target them for eviction simply because they’re targeting him. Who will win the Power of Veto? And will it save Natalie or Ricky from eviction? And which two celebrities will be sent packing on an exciting Double Eviction night? Find out Friday on “Celebrity Big Brother!”
