We’re only seven episodes in to this second season of “Celebrity Big Brother” but it is already more than halfway over. While the regular edition runs all summer long on CBS, this spin-off runs for only three weeks in the winter. Everything happens at a much quicker pace. That includes both the coming together of alliances among the competing houseguests and the inevitable rifts in those pacts.
Two of the “CBB” contestants — Tom Green and Kato Kaelin — have dominated the house so far. They’ve won the last four competitions, with each reigning once as Head of Household and holding the game-changing Power of Veto. They’ve engineered the removals of their frenemy Jonathan Bennett and then rival Ryan Lochte. And they’ve struck up a Fun Alliance with three athletes: Lolo Jones, Natalie Eva Marie and Ricky Williams. Spoilers ahead.
But it has all been unraveling as of late. Tom has been obsessed by figuring out who has the Power of the Publicist, which will allow that houseguest to remove themselves from the chopping block on Saturday or Monday. Tamar Braxton won this power but has kept that under wraps. As third HOH, Tom tapped Kandi Burruss and Joey Lawrence for potential eviction on Saturday.
However, he and Kato were planning on dispatching Ricky via the backdoor. When Natalie won the Power of Veto on Wednesday, they thought there plan was coming together. But she has decided to throw her lot in with Lolo and Ricky and won’t be taking orders from Team Tomato.
At the POV ceremony, Natalie decided to let the nominations stand. Which of the two nominees do you want to to see evicted in the live episode on February 2.
