Kenan Thompson has made his “Dancing with the Stars” prediction — and to absolutely no one’s surprise, he says his boy Kel Mitchell is going to take home the Mirrorball trophy on Monday’s finale.
“He’s crushing it!” the “Saturday Night Live” star told “Entertainment Tonight.” “He’s going all the way. I think he’s going to win.”
Mitchell is the last male celebrity standing after James Van Der Beek‘s surprising elimination last week. He’s up against Lauren Alaina, Ally Brooke and Hannah Brown. In addition to his freestyle, he and Witney Carson will redo their “High School Musical”-inspired jazz number that earned a 26 in Week 5.

Thompson says that his old “Kenan & Kel” and “Good Burger” pal has been “dancing for forever,” so he’s not shocked that Mitchell’s done so well on the show. Save for one bottom two appearance in Week 3, Mitchell hasn’t been back there since and has improved every week. “I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing it all of our lives but now America gets to see it. I’m happy for him, man,” Thompson gushed. “Go get that, man. Win that thing!”
He even imparted some advice for Mitchell to cross the finish line: manifest it. “Do your thing, man. You got all the confidence in the world. You know you’re a great dancer. Just show everybody that that’s what it is,” he said. ‘”‘Kel Mitchell just won ‘Dancing with the Stars’… can you believe that?’ ‘Oh my god, congratulations! Man, I knew you would win.’ See that?”
